Position: Personal Support Worker (PSW)
Location: Opportunities available in various locations, particularly in Elgin, ON. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to clients, aiding with daily living activities and enhancing their quality of life.
- Develop respectful and constructive working relationships with clients and their families, addressing and meeting their care needs.
- Ensure client safety and deliver high-quality care with a focus on individual needs.
- Work independently while recognizing when to seek support from peers and supervisors.
Skills Needed for Success:
- A commitment to extensive learning, educational development, and continuous improvement.
- A culture of performance, recognition, and appreciation, coupled with a commitment to excellence.
- Possession of a Personal Support Worker or equivalent certificate from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- Outstanding focus on client safety and the development of respectful relationships with clients and their families.
- Exemplary skills in delivering high-quality customer experiences and care.
- A proven track record of accountability for multiple deliverables, reporting, and high-quality performance.
- Experience in independent problem-solving and the ability to recognize when to seek support.
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid Canadian driver's license is essential.
Qualifications:
- PSW Certification (required)
- CPR Certification (required)
- Secondary School Diploma (preferred)
- Proficiency in English (required)
